O.k. i’m 14 years old and i need a hobby i already have video games, shooting, guitar, singing, robot building, and anime/manga(yes!). I took Japanese, and French, i took a cooking class, and a health class. I’m one year ahead in my classes so don’t say study. I took a fighting class (kendo, judo, etc). I play sports like snowboarding, basketball, football, etc. I already tried crafts, knitting, beading, woodworking, movie making, hanging out with my friends, and i read more books then i can count. But nothing calls to me i feel stuck, like there is nothing for me. It makes me feel sad.
Like i have no purpose.
I have watched ace of cakes
I already do paintball, soccer, Rock Climbing, Magic, tennis but thanks on the brake-dancing and stuff. Oh yeah i live in L.A. and it is a 50 min drive to hollywood and like a 1 hour drive to mountain high.
Don't have a girlfriend in case anyone says hang around our girlfriend.
i am a christian
i read and write i have a college reading and comprehension level but i suck at spelling and art although i am good with my hands, and i am creative.
No pets and my siblings are like 28 and 25
but i do have nieces and i visit them occasionally.
I have looked for shelters but none of them i could reach within biking distance. I have also done the research about my future career and collages and what i need for my future. I already have the classes i need and some extras. I usually fix some dishes for my family and stuff and i like to party. I tutor my second cousin in law in stuff as we have some of the same classes. I have made some stuff like a hat stand but that was in class. But thanks for the stamp idea i'll look into it i heard that my mom used to collect stamps.
I have tried quilting i kind of thought it was boring.
You could try photography – there’s a lot you can do with a camera.
If you have a digital camera there’s a lot you can take photos of. You could photograph the area you live in, plants andd flowers, events you attend, local events, whatever strikes your fancy. Don’t forget to take pictures at unusual angles and points of view.
Do you have artistic talent? Can you draw or paint? If you can then you could do that and give your creations as Christmas gifts.
I enjoy paper crafts – rubber stamping and scrapbooking. Believe it or not there are some men who are into those crafts. In fact one of my favorite stamp companies is Stampscapes and the designer of the stamps is a man. He also does art work with his rubber stamps. You can check out the web site below. The other web site has a bunch of galleries and ideas for using rubber stamps, cardstock, and designer paper to create all kinds of projects. Check out both the Gallery and Resources sections and while in the Gallery check out some of the ideas under Anything But a Card.
How about volunteering? Animal shelters, Senior Citizen Centers, and retirement homes. Are there any elderly people who live in your neighborhood who might be lonely? You could bake them some cookies or make a small home made gift to give them and spend some time with them. Elderly people usually enjoy telling about what it was like when they were young and growing up, many of them have amazing stories to tell that make you sit back and say, “Wow! I never would have thought that about him/her!”
Think about your future – what you want to do as an adult to earn money. Research what you’re interested in and see what it takes to do that job – what kind of skills do you need, what courses in high school and then college would get you that job?
From there start planning.
You may have given some thought about this and there may be several things you have in mind. Look into each one. Can one of those choices mesh with others you’d like to do?
It is not too soon to start looking at colleges or technical schools and figuring out what you want for yourself in the future.
You could take a look around your home and figure out some little things you can do that are above and beyond what you normally do to help out your parents as a surprise for them.
If you have any siblings you could see if they need help with homework or a project for school.
You could find things around the house and make something – this time of the year there are all kinds of ideas for differnt decorations you can make for the holidays. Find some ideas onilne, from magazines from the library and/or books from the library.
If you have a dog you could take it for a walk, . If you have a dog or a cat you could play with them. You could also brush their fur with a pet brush.
If you have siblings you could play a game with them, play pretend with them by taking the dining room chairs and a blanket or two and create a “tent” in a living area of your house. (Make sure it’s okay with mom/dad first.) You could have a pretend picnic, tell ghost stories, play games, pretend you’re on a safari in Africa, or that you’re a pioneer crossing the western frontier 150 years ago.
As it is the Holiday season you could also help out your parents by planning and preparing some of the meals between now and Christmas. You could help out by planning the menus through the holidays and from the menus create the grocery list. I’m sure your parents would greatly appreciate such extra effort on your part.
You could also babysit. Many parents are looking for opportunities to do some Christmas shopping without the children and there area often parties for them to attend which require a babysitter.
By the way you sound like an over achiever and from your list of things you’ve tried I say WOW!!! You are too young to feel as though there is nothing new to try. There’s always something new you just have to keep looking.
I hope this list was helpful and got you thinking about ideas.

You can try answering questions in Yahoo answer.
How come you have time for all that
Are you a genius or something as you said you are 1year ahead in your class so………

To me it sounds like you are spending too much time trying different avenues. I just sent an e-mail to a group talking about the difference between the average Joe and someone who excels at a particular task/hobby/job. Have you considered taking one chore and attempting to be the best at it. It is a very fine line to cross, and one that takes determination and skill to cross. But once you cross that line and know it, the emotional and possibly financial rewards will make it worth the effort.
